Imagine 4 inspectors all sharing the same zip codes. All of them have a 100% turnaround time.
100 new inspections come in and they are evenly distributed among the 4 inspectors.
Each inspector now has 25 inspections.
Inspector A completes and submits all 25 inspections.
Inspector B completes and submits 15 inspections.
Inspector C completes and submits 8 inspections.
Inspector D takes the day off and doesn’t submit anything but is not past due on any inspection, yet.
The next day there are 100 new inspections that come in.
Inspector A gets 25 of those new inspections.
Inspector B gets 15 of those new inspections.
Inspector C gets 8 of those new inspections.
Inspector D doesn’t get any of the new inspections but still does not have any inspections that are past due.
The remaining 52 inspections are evenly distributed among Inspector A, B, and C.
As you can see, even though each inspector has a 100% turnaround time, Inspector A receives and completes more
inspections than the other inspectors because they get out and submit the work orders faster.
They hit their download button on the InspectorADE app several times a day. Some click on the download button after
each inspection is submitted. They see if they can add new inspections to their existing route which makes their trips
even more profitable.
Therefore, their deposits are larger than the other inspectors in the same area.
