It gives you a clear understanding of the industry and the type of work involved. Many people have never heard of this field, even though these inspections are required by the investors and insurers who back these mortgages.

The free course takes about an hour. At the end you fill out a short form, your Training Completion Confirmation, which is your proof that you finished the basics. It is not a certificate, but you can send it to the company that hires you. To become a Certified Mortgage Field Services Inspector, you take the paid Advanced Certificate Training on the same site.
When you finish, send your completion form to Lori at Lori@nmfs.com to get started with us. On that same page you can also order your keys and background check, and apply with the five other companies listed there. You are welcome to handle the keys and background check on your own, but many find it easier to let us help.
