All Valued CFSI Inspectors;

The last 96 hours have dramatically impacted the United States.  With the spread of the Coronavirus, most states and municipalities have taken some drastic measures to curb the spread of CV-19 that we have ever seen by limiting access to restaurants, bars, and other public places for fear of spreading the disease!

CFSI’s concern for our employees and inspectors is our main priority.  We have instituted a “work from home” policy for our employees which will allow them to support their children and any other dependents while keeping up with our client SLAs.  It is critical in this time of dramatic dislocation that you communicate with our team on your schedule and anything you are personally doing to curtail the spread in your area.   One thing we will be requiring of our inspectors and the POC for the inspection, we will be asking if they are sick!  This is critical and we would expect that you do not travel and expose anyone if you are sick.  We understand you only earn money when you work, but you cannot expose clients or borrowers to this growing problem.

Here are a few things we need you to keep in mind when inspecting any projects for CFSI;

We ask that you keep a 6’ distance from people when you inspect a property.

Wear a mask, if you have one.

Do not bring additional people to the inspection.

Listen to the POC; Is there a slow down on the project, Subs/suppliers not coming to the job?

You have a critical role to provide an inspection for these contractors/borrowers to receive funds to keep the job moving and their doors open.  There can’t be a more important role today, keep the money flowing, keep people working while we help keep everyone safe.

CFSI is closely monitoring local and national health agencies for additional information and advisement on conditions. CFSI asks that you take the below precautions to protect you and others while conducting onsite inspections:

Thank you and please stay safe and healthy.
