Deceitful Photos
Using photos from a previous inspection, Google maps, or any other resource other than actually taking the photos yourself on the correct date, at the location site, will result in a Charge-Back fine of $500, plus immediate termination.
InspectorADE has built-in software that will place a different colored border around photos that do not contain the Exif data that is required by our clients. The colored border makes it easier for QC to detect an issue.

Some think that they can use the app to take a photo of their monitor at home from Google maps of that street sign photo they missed. Since the GPS will be different than the other photos, it will put a purple border around the photo to flag it. We’ve seen inspectors in the past who will put a door hanger envelope on their own door at home because they don’t want to drive all the way back to the property for the missing photo. Those fraudulent photos are the easiest to detect because IA puts a heavy black border around the photo.
Copying photos from previous inspections change the border color to red.
There are many other border colors to show issues with the photos.
Those who take their own photos and do the job right, do not have to worry about it.
