Attachments are NOT on the Phone App!

So many inspectors are calling, asking about an attachment that they do not see on the phone app. Stop looking there!

Most common is the insurance loss attachments. These are located on the inspection on the website version of InspectorADE.

The InspectorADE website is the main part of all inspections. The phone app is merely a portable tool to use along with the website. 

Making IL inspection updates are to be completed on the website, not the phone app.  There is a comment section on the inspection form that goes to the client, but that is not to be used as a message system.  Whatever you write in the comment section of an inspection on your phone app is only sent once you upload the inspection.  And then you comment goes along with the inspection report.

As for comments on the inspection form, on the app, please stop writing things like “too much rain”, “I couldn’t do the inspection today because…”, “please increase the fee…” Those comments on the inspection form are part of the inspection that goes to the client.

If you want to send the manager a comment, use the Info/Comments tab on the website.

The website can be brought up on your cell phone like any other website, using the browser on your phone. Just like you pull up Facebook or Google on your phone browser, you can also use your phone to go to the InspectorADE.com website.
